2016 Toyota Tundra in Birmingham, AL

The 2016 Toyota Tundra in Birmingham, AL has some exciting new features drivers won’t want to miss! This full-size truck will carryover a lot of features from the 2015 model, which means it will still be powerful, reliable and ready for anything that may come its way. Drivers who choose the 2016 Toyota Tundra are expecting big things, and that’s exactly what Toyota plans to give them.

One of the most notable changes will be the Larger Fuel Tank (LFT). Growing from 26.4 gallons to 38 gallons, this is the largest available fuel tank in its class. The LFT will come standard on most trims with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine. Toyota will also introduce Flex Fuel vehicle options on a few of the 2016 Toyota Tundra trims. Flex Fuel vehicles run on gasoline as well as a blend of gasoline and ethanol. Integrated Trailer Brake Controller will come standard on all 2016 Toyota Tundra models with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine. This allows for the vehicle to calculate and determine how much braking pressure is needed on the trailer when the Toyota Tundra is hauling something behind it.

There will be a few new safety packages available on the 2016 Toyota Tundra depending on the trim level. The SR5 and the 1974 Edition trims will be updated with all-chrome front grilles. The 1974 Edition trim will have an Off-Road Package available featuring upgraded wheels, shocks, skid plate and special Off-Road decals. There will be a few slight changes to the colorway options available: Blue Ribbon Metallic will be replaced with Blazing Blue Pearl and Attitude Black will be renamed as Midnight Black Metallic. Any other existing colors from the 2015 models will still be available. The 2016 Toyota Tundra will also see an upgrade to the Entune Audio System with a variety of features such as navigation and updated music options.
