  1. Tom Nicholson says:

Do any 2019 RAV4s come with a CD player?

  2. Lisa hubble says:

    Can a CD player be added to a 2019 or 2018 Rav4?

  3. JJIm says:

I asked my Toyota service department that same question and was told it is possible at a cost of approximately $5000.00 dollars. No CD player is worth that.

  4. John Osterholm says:

We bought a new base model in January 2019 and I asked the same question and was told that nobody listens to CDs anymore. He was wrong, of course. I loaded songs on a flash drive but so far I have been 8nable to get the audio system to sort the selections properly.

  5. Gail Brown says:

Omitting the CD player is really a bad choice. There are lots of folks that listen to CD and lots of Indie artist that get their sound out that way. That is a major error. I am getting a personal CD player and a 3mm audio cable and I’m good to go…just aggravating.

  6. Wayne Barker says:

Since Toyota, Honda, and Mazda have all dropped CD players they are all off my list for a new Compact SUV. Subaru Foresters still have them, and by the way, Consumer Reports ranks the Forester as best in class.

  7. Shawna says:

Cd players R A MUST!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!! WILL NOT b purchasing any vehicle without one.

  8. Elizabeth Novotny says:

    No CD player–bummer, that sucks!!!

  9. Sandra Dours says:

No CD I will have to buy another car like the Subaru Forester.

  10. Susan Dillon Oberholtzer says:

I listen to audiobooks in my car. Need a CD player

  11. Marsha Long says:

I really Miss my CD player. Everyone still has CDs that is what their favorite music is on. What was the idea of leaving it out. Some of us do not know how to put the updated things on our vehicle to listen to music and does it cost extra to do that.

  12. Bob gallagher says:

No cd player, no rav 4

  13. Linda Hudnall says:

i do not have a cd player in my 2017 rav 4, really miss it. says no cd player in 2019 either. saw where subaru forester has it for 2019, may have to change my car to that.

  14. Wanda says:

For the life of me who was the idiot that decided no CD player.
Old people don’t do all of the I phone music crap.
I will definitely buy a car with the CD player.
    Really stupid

  15. Nancy says:

Iwas so ooooooostupid not realizing to ask just assumed. Know what that makes me?. I have so many cd’s that have my favorite music. Now I have to figure out how to do this and I am not a tech kind of gal. Dam!! $5000 is a little much what a ripoff

  16. Bob Walczak says:

How can I onnect wayz to my new RAV4

  17. Amanda says:

    Get a cell phone losers.

  18. CC says:

If you have iTunes you can burn all your cds into their format. If you have blue tooth on your phone you can then drag and drop the albums into the phone which shows up on your iTunes sidebar. Once on your phone you can set up playlists of all your music. When you get in your car assuming you have blue tooth in your phone… it will connect to your phone and you can stream any playlists or albums from your phone to your speakers. I have a ton of music at my fingertips.. all my music i’ve collected over about 30 years.. set up by CD album and also my favorite songs set in playlists. It is really just a drag and drag from computer to phone then stream on car speakers.

  19. mrc says:

Lost the CD player years ago in the CRV so I dont miss it in the Rav. and I suspect all mfgs will stop installing players. It’s just not economically viable for them…besides, when was the last time you purchased a car with a cassette or 8 track player..lol

Just drop your CD’s into your computer and make copies onto your computer’s hard drive and or external hard drive, cloud storage…what ever you use. Bonus, when your finished you will have a complete digital library and you can ditch all those waste of space CD’s and their plastic cases that you’ve been lugging around. Word of caution here….as with cars, CD players are not just disappearing in cars but computers and laptops too…so do this soon while you still can. Once copied to your computer you can drag and drop the music files onto USB thumb drive, which holds far more CDs then you could possible cary in your car.

Then just plug thumb drive into the USB port of your Rav…set your source mode to USB and bingobongo…all your music shows up on your screen. You can list by song track, album, artist etc. and point and play…switch/fast forward/backward and song, artist albums with a single finger point…
