New Gear

The new Tacoma model is designed with serious off-road capabilities and has its design inspiration taken from the 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road model. The new 2019 model year of the Tacoma TRD Pro has enhanced 2.5-inch Fox front shocks that are paired with TRD-tuned springs that provide an additional 1 inch of front lift. A larger front sway bar delivers refined performance and responsive steering. In addition, this model has 2.5-inch rear shocks that are combined with 2-inch piggyback reservoirs. This raises the Tacoma’s frame and enhances responsiveness, so even on rougher roads, you can tackle the terrain with ease.

This model has stunning capability, but also stellar styling. You’ll find 16-inch TRD Pro black alloy wheels that increase the Tacoma’s track with an additional inch of width in the front and the rear. This new stance emphasizes the athletic prowess of the model but also improves stability for superior performance. Drivers of the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will have Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar All-Terrain tires that give incredible traction to the Tacoma TRD Pro.

Desert Air Intake

A new addition to the Tacoma TRD Pro model, and an exciting development for off-road performance equipment, is the introduction of a TRD Desert Air Intake valve. This equipment is designed to help sustain consistent off-road performance and increase engine health longevity. The TRD Desert Air Intake moves the 278-horsepower 3.5L V6 engine’s air intake away from dust and debris inside the wheel well while off-roading and allows for air ingestion to occur above the windshield. This means a cleaner intake and a longer filter life and improved engine health.
