Safety Features

Safety advancements like seat belts and impact resistant designs were great for protecting passengers when a crash occurs. However, there is still the potential for injury. Nobody will get hurt if an accident never happens. The 2021 Toyota Venza will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 and its suite of active safety monitoring system that will help keep the vehicle away from dangerous situations. TSS 2.0 will include:

  • Pre-Collision System
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Lane Tracing Assist
  • Road Sign Assist

The pre-collision system can provide automatic braking capability during certain low-light conditions should it detect a pedestrian or someone a bicycle and the driver doesn’t react fast enough.

Driving and Maneuvering Aids

Toyota is introducing an available 10-inch heads-up display in the 2021 Toyota Venza. It will project vital information like speed, hybrid system status and input from TSS 2.0 in the driver’s eye-line without being obtrusive or distracting. Rearview cameras to help drivers safely back up aren’t new. However, some of the upper trim grades of the 2021 Venza will have the rear camera video feed displayed on the digital rearview mirror to provide people with a wider-angle view. The Limited model will also add the composite camera system to form a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area.
