.When it comes to safety, there are quite a few features that are standard on the base of the 4Runner but are unavailable on the base of the Pathfinder. The 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 comes standard with active head restraints, automatic headlights, front knee airbags and front fog lights. All of these safety features are not available on the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder S. Both are set with anti-theft protection for when you’re most vulnerable and low tire pressure indicators to assure proper tire inflation at all times.
Although the 4Runner SR5 has room for only five passengers, there are higher models with additional seating.
