The 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 comes standard with active head restraints, automatic headlights, front knee airbags and front fog lights. All of these safety features are not available on the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder S. Although the 4Runner SR5 has room for only five passengers, there are higher models with additional seating. There is a power vertical sliding rear window for easier access to the back and a skid plate for added underbody protection. These are not available in the Pathfinder.
