It may seem silly to compare these two vehicles. After all, they are both the top-selling vehicles in their perspective categories. The 2017 Toyota Corolla is a mid-sized sedan with much to recommend it. Whereas the 2017 Toyota Camry is considered to be a compact sedan. If you look at the chart below you will have a sense of the overall size and power differences.
So why compare the two? Well, it really comes down to highlighting the differences in the vehicles so that you, as a driver can make the best possible choice that matches your day to day needs. Both cars have high safety ratings, are fuel efficient, and deliver a good driving experience. Neither car has changed much since the 2016 model. The most marked difference is that the Camry now has more standard features that were once optional, but its price has not increased at all for the 2017 model.

The 2017 Toyota Camry continues to be comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for passengers in the back seat. This mid-sized sedan is trustworthy and steadfast. The V6 engine is powerful, but if you are looking for a sportier feel that is also available. Likewise, if you yearn for more luxury this can easily be accommodated as you move up the trim levels. The 2017 Toyota Camry special edition has been discontinued, but the XLE and XSE now come standard with a premium sound system.
