One of the biggest changes from the 2017 to the 2018 model year is the addition of active safety to the entire trim level spectrum of the 2018 Toyota Sequoia family. This includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Auto High Beams (AHB), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC). Previous to the 2018 model year, the TSS-P was not standard equipment and drivers were obligated to upgrade to add these features to their Sequoia.
For the 2018 model year, the Sequoia gains a new trim level - the 2018 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport. This model will be available in 4x4 and 4x2 configurations and will be equipped with the 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine. This model also comes equipped with TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars for an increased amount of control. You will also find a number of model grade-specific stylistic elements on the exterior and in the interior cabin.
The new Toyota Sequoia will feature standard LED headlights with LED DRL, and LED fog lights. Other exterior updates include a new front grille and bumper grille insert, distinctive to each grade. A bumper opening chrome surround will be equipped on TRD Sport, Limited and Platinum grades. No matter the model year you choose, you'll have access to a stunning SUV with capable performance.
